Mission
Some students may initially feel like they do not enjoy learning about science or that they are not "good" at science. Others love science and are always wanting to learn more. No matter where a student is at in regards to science, it is my hope to help spark more of an interest, so that, they will want to further their studies in science. My desire is to get them to look around at the world in wonder! To ask questions and come up with hypotheses and test them out... to in a sense become a scientist no matter what age they are! Overall, it is my hope to inspire the joy of learning in my students.
Vision
I am a firm believer in not removing God from science. Romans 1:20 states, "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." You will regularly hear me ask my students, "How is God revealing Himself, His power, or His nature to you as you study science?" God is always revealing Himself! We just need to look! On that same note, I must inform you that these science courses are not theology courses. I will not be teaching theology in my classes. I believe it is the parent's responsibility and honor to teach their children about God.
